Q: How much does it cost?
A: Weekend passes are $55. Friday only pass $30 ($20 after 10pm). Saturday only $35 ($25 after 10pm) – Tenting included with every pass. Kids 12 and under get in free with a parent/guardian.

Q: What is a “Tent Crasher”.
A: An early bird weekend pass available at ticketatlantic.com and participating SuperStore locations. These passes get you on the field earlier than regular pass holders. Giving you first chance at the prime tenting areas. Tent Crashers also save you money at only $45 each for the weekend.

Q: Can I bring my trailer?
A: No. Tents only. Our site is not trailer friendly.

Q: What time do the gates open?
A: Gates open at 2pm to the general public on Friday August 12th. Tent Crasher holders at 1pm.

Q: When does the entertainment start?
A: Friday 6pm – 4am / Saturday 10am – 4am

Q: Are campfires allowed?
A: No.

Q: Can I bring my propane fire pit?
A: No.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: No.

Q: Will there be food vendors on site?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I bring a BBQ or Coleman stove?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I park next to my tent?
A: No. All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area. The only exception is for motorcycles. You may park your bike at your campsite.

Q: Can I listen to pre-recorded music or my radio at my site?
A: No. People around you, even though they may not be at the stage. They still like to hear the acts from their tents.

Q: Is there a beer tent?
A: No. Riverfest is a BYOB event. Please use cans or plastic, as glass is not allowed.

Q: Is there security?
A: Yes, Riverfest is “monitored” the entire event. The RCMP also make frequent trips through.

Q: Can I leave and return?
A: Yes. You will be given a bracelet at the gate in exchange for your pass. You are free to come and go as you please.

Q: Is there designated campsites and can I reserve one?
A: No. Simply set up wherever you want within our secured area.

Q: Can I bring an acoustic guitar, bongos, congos etc to play at my site?
A: Yes. Riverfest is all about live music and networking with other musicians.

Q: Are there showers?
A: No.

Q: Are there washrooms?
A: Yes. We have a number of portable toilets on site. We have been told many times that we have the cleanest of any festival.

Q: What if I only want to see a couple acts?
A: You will have to pick from our various passes. We do not sell hourly passes.

Q: What if it rains?
A: We hope it doesn’t. However if it does the show will go on. Riverfest is a rain or shine event. We will however shut the stage down if there is a risk of lightning for the safety of our performers. We will reopen the stage after the risk passes.

Q: Can I go wherever I want on the property?
A: No. We clearly mark public areas. This is for safety reasons.

Q: Is the field lit at night?
A: We do light the parking area. Other than that we suggest you bring flashlights or other sources of illumination for night time travels.

Q: Can I bring a lawn chair or cooler to the stage area?
A: Yes. Just remember that glass isn’t allowed.

Q: Will there be official Riverfest shirts with the year on them?
A: Yes. These will be available at our merchandise tent. Along with various items from our performers. Performers are not paid to play Riverfest. We ask that you support them by purchasing their merchandise.

Q: Is there an ATM on site?
A: No. Cash only.
